My Family and I only stayed for one night but we were very pleased with this Hotel. Our rooms were so spacious and very clean! The recepiton staff were very pleasent and helpful. The breakfast was good value for money! Unfortunately we didn't get to use the facilities but the pool and spa looked really good.
room to the hills - no noise at all
The hotel accommodated all of our different family members
My Mothers room was below a loud group very late into the night
Large 2 bed room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Relaxing pool. Gym a bit on the small side. Wendee on the bar was very friendly and deserves a mention. The food was good.
I especially loved the sparkling pool and quietness of the location on the outskirts of town. Also enjoyed the view of horses grazing on the neighboring hills. We had a very lovely stay, making trips to close by Cambria, San Simeon, Avila Beach and Port San Luis Rey.... Very central location. Housekeeping staff was very helpful and attentive.
every thing was good , clean hotel
they charged me for the breakfast which it already paid with my room reservation. they charged it twice, and the deduct from my visa card more than the bill I received.
The staff was polite/helpful and the facility was clean, quiet and in a convenient location. Though, we had to pay for breakfast:( the quality of the food was good and worth the price.
For the amount of money one pays for a night stay, the breakfast should be complimentary. That will definitely make this hotel perfect!
Everything worked well and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was very good so it isn't necessary to drive int town for a meal.
No breakfast available. Pool too small for a decent swim
I enjoyed the location it was in, plcaed in between pismo/Avila beach and SLO.
Everything felt outdated. the AC unit made a loud noise every time it turned off which woke me up a couple of times.
The King room I stayed in was a decent size, it had a nice large couch, and it felt pretty clean. Quiet location, even though it's near 101 which was a very nice surprise. The room felt modern, which is rare for SLO hotels (I'm looking at you "Fruit Farm" and "One-name Musician"). There is a bar that has pretty good hours, and the hotel is very accessible. Not too far from downtown slo, there's a nice Target and Whole Foods nearby, and if you forget to fill up your gas tank, there's a gas station nearby.
The parking was a bit of a mess, as they appear to be updating rooms. I stayed Thursday-Sunday, and on Thursday night there were plenty of spots open. Come Friday night, it was very difficult to find parking. The hotel has five or six trailers parked in the back, taking up a ton of spots. It made me nervous driving around their lot, as I was sure that a nail was going to puncture a tire because of all their construction stuff in the back. I won't stay here again until their finished with construction, as the parking situation is not worth the $20 a night savings of other nearby hotels.
Enjoyed being able to meet with family in the lobby for this wedding, when we were all staying here.
The pool area chairs were missing back cushions.
Nice room comfortable bed friendly staff
The outrageous gouging high cost of the room.
The room was nice and bed was very comfortable.
That they offer no breakfast.
The hotel was quiet even though it was very crowded.
The beds have definitely seen better days -- all of thought they were too soft and saggy.
I made the reservation through Booked.net and they did not have it. They were most apologetic even though it was booking's fault and did everything to find us a nice room. They even gave us a glass of champagne in honor of mother's day.
